This past holiday season, Ashley Furniture HomeStore wanted to embrace that notion, so we proposed an unexpected idea: find an everyday family with a compelling story, then bring them together to celebrate the holidays in style.
We found the Patricks…
After introducing the Patricks, we turned to Facebook to crowdsource a decor style to refresh the family’s home. Organic posts promoted the vote to the Ashley community while highly targeted ads reached millions of others.
After 6 days of voting almost 14,000 total votes were cast,
and Artful Salvage was declared the winner.
Once the decor style was selected, we engaged a broader audience with a contest for a $4,000 shopping spree. Entry was simple: post a photo on Instagram of your holiday moments with friends and family, using #AshleyHolidayContest.
Organic posts and targeted ads were placed on both Instagram and Facebook to ensure high visibility with maximum efficiency.

as well as the brand’s email list to promote the contest.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, we furnished the Patricks’ dining room and living room, and made one special delivery they’ll never forget. We continued to promote the effort as it unfolded utilizing the brand’s e-comm and social channels.
